Well, I've just read at the ABC News that Brendon Grylls has cast the Nationals' lot with the Liberal Party to form a government in Western Australia. Oh brother...they're back. And Alan Carpenter has gone; resigned from the leadership of the labor Party.

It was a tough decision for Brendon Grylls. I think he was leaning towards Carps, but his MPs were worried about a possible backlash in their electorates.
It would have been different if the Nats had won Kalgoorlie, North West and Pilbara. They came within 500 votes in each of those seats.
